system goes to standby

My windows XP system keeps automatically going into standby. I can barely do anything before it does this. I have run a virus scan and ad-aware and nothing...any ideas? Everything was fine until 2 days ago. I have also done a system restore to last Monday but it didn't work
 
Did you allready check the power options in the Control Panel?

In that case sorry i cant help you and for wasting your time on that simple
thing.
