Is there anyway to disable system file protection say from the xp
registry?

Hi Bill

Why would you want to disable SFP? If you could disable SFP, crucial system
files may be overwritten rendering your PC unbootable.

I don't particularly want to use MS's JVM. I would much rather use
Sun's. That one thing I always do with win98. Remove all the MS JVM sys
files and registry keys. MS's JVM is out of date compared to Sun micoro's.
That is the main reason. If you know what your doing you can remove default
system files, but then again if you don't... disaster.

Hi Bill

I installed Sun's Java without uninstalling MS's JVM - no problem here.
Enable Sun's Java in IE.
