Andrew

Can anyone help me out. I have windows xp, when i turn on
my computer before it brings up the user sign in screen
this message is displayed.

lsass.exe - system error
insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

I know that there not enought free space on my drive, but
i cant even access the drives to free up the problem. As
soon as this error msg comes up, it restarts the computer.

hopefully someone can help.

If there's not enough free space on your hard drive, Windows won't open.
Try accessing through Safe Mode and see if you can create the necessary room
there. Boot the system, start tapping F8, when the menu appears, select
Safe Mode and press enter.

Silly

If it cannot open in the normal mode how can you say that it i possible to open in safe mode as there is no resources in terms of memory, if drive is full how come u open it in safe mode?

plz give some other solution as it doesn't work... showing the same symptom.

If there's not enough free space on your hard drive, Windows won't open even in safe mode.
Try accessing through Debug Mode and see if you can get through... as it worked for me. Boot the system, start tapping F8, when the menu appears, select
Debug Mode and press enter.

I have a question now... if it had no space in the system drive why it opened in debug mode or not in other mode?
as I preassumed that it is not possible to open OS in any mode if there is not enough Disc-memory in system drive.
When I got through the debug mode I found only 2.4 mb space in my system drive.
