System error

Recently, my laptop hangs and a screen came up saying I have system
error. It sounded serious and it restarts after I press a key. Viewing
the event log shows the following:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bfa778d7,
parameter3 ed8e6a4c, parameter4 00000000.

Yes, I have searched through the net and can't seem to find a solution
to what happened the other day. I have Ad-Watch running and after that
event, each time I start my system, I see that Kernel Fault Check run
(as prompt by Ad-Watch for permission to allow registry modification)
What is this Kernel Fault Check?

I'm don't know much about these technical things and I really seek help
and explanatin from you all. Thank you in advance
