system error

My XP pro I was attempting to restore it. Received error message "lsass.exe
system error. Invalied paramater was passed to do service or function"
system keep restarting. I went to the Recovery system , it will not accepted
my password. How can i correct this problem?

Why were you trying to "restore" the system? How, specifically? When
did that error occur. What do you mean by "Recovery system"?

You need to provide more information. Review this link on making a good
newsgroup post and resubmit with more info.

lsass damage is a common viral issue. I can't find my fix for it at the
moment, but I know if you search at Symantec.com or Google you'll most
likely find what it takes to get going again.
If that doesn't work, well, then you should have given more details - you
limited the responses you'll get by expecting people here to read minds.
