hi,
Last night my pc crashed and upon reboot got the message "system disk
missing". I then proceeded to do a windows repair and managed to get it
up and running again. Unfortunately upon reboot I got the same error.
I have sought advice from segate and the net and there seems to be
conflicting information.
If I am able to repair windows does this mean that its not a hardware
problem and most likely a logical disk error????
If so if I run the diagnostic utilities that should fix it? if not if I
zero fill the drive that might?
What I want to know is what could have possibly caused this to occur as
I maintain my OS quite well. I have disabled many services and run
multiple security products. I am using sandboxie and I have read
somewhere that it can possible damage the OS, could that be it????
Cheers
