Today I was minding my own business when I got a blue screen which said if I
installed new hardware or software that there was a serious problem which
made the system crash and that I should reinstall that hardware or software.

Where can I go to simply and easily get a log of what happened?

Or for that matter, of what anyone was doing on the computer chronologically?

EVENTVWR.MSC from the Start Menu | Run.

Look thru the Applications and/or System for the error.

It would have been helpful to have posted the exact error code Research it
