I am having problems with my system shutting down. It
happens at any time, on the net or off, playing games or
listening to music. The computer shuts down and sometimes
it reboots itself and other times I do it. System restore
to before this started happening didn't work. My error
log is full of system error's and W32Time error's in just
the last couple of week's. Does anyone know what system
error code-100007f,parameter1 00000008,parameter2
80042000,parameter3 00000000,parameter4 00000000, could
mean. I have a whole bunch of these one's all slightly
different. Also what are W32Time errors and why would I
get 5 in one day? Help please.

It sounds like there are numerous problems going on. You
should do a repair/reinstall of Windows XP. Go to the
Microsoft Knowledge Base and read article 315341. This
should tell you about using the repair console to re-
install Windows. Make sure your virus protection is
turned off when you re-install.
Good Luck !

Did you send in the error report back to Microsoft when the machine rebooted
and prompted you to send ?
If you send it, the error will get analyzed and you'll get troubleshooting
steps, and in some cases a pointer to a fix (if it's a known problem).
