system crash on shutdown/rundll error

I recently removed a dial up setting in order to install
an ASDL connection. I now get an error message on
startup along the lines of, "rundll32 error, 'rydial'
module was not found."

The system is also slow to boot up, and frequently seems
to crash, or is extremely slow, on shutdown.

I can make the system work OK if I disable the Rydial
thingy in msconfig/startup, but how can I remove/disable
it permanently?

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

Have you checked for any spyware that may be on your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Thanks Will, I already use Ad-aware, and it doesn't seem
to have picked it up, but I will check these links more
thoroughly.

Thanks for your help

Hi

One of the three may pick up on something the other two don't.
