Had to re-install Windows XP on 4/6/04 due to a virus that
Norton did not yet have on their definition list. Norton
did publish a "fix" the next day. Anyhow, after the re-
install and hours of downloading updates on my old
computer, I still have a problem.
When booting up, I get a small window mesage which
says: "Please go to Control Panel and configure system
components". I can tell my wife (her computer) to click
OK on this message to make it disappear and the computer
works fine for her needs. WHAT CAN I DO TO KEEP THAT
WINDOW FROM COMING UP?.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
