I used systemconfig to disable a few startup programs that i thought were not functioning correctly. I performed a "clean boot" according to the directions online. Now, a bunch of my programs won't work, including internet explorer. Also,my virus software has missed files. I keep getting messages that my computer may be in Safe Mode but its not. How can I get it back to normal settings?

Go to Start > Run > msconfig
startup tab and check all entries
