SYSTEM CASHED. Please Help

Greetings,
MY Asus a7n8x-e dlx, athlon xp2500,756 mgs, 160 hd, Winxp
Pro,just crashed. Receives a blue screen reading"fatal
system error logon process system terminated unexpected
with a status of OxC0000005 (Ox00000000 Ox00000000) the
system has been shut down."
What I tried to do: uninstalled sp2, clean sytem up
systems don't remember which ones.
Is there a windowsxp boot disk I can use? Is there a way
to get my files?If I have to reinstall windows will I
have an activation problem?
please help....

Hi Deborah,

The full error message would help, in particular the named module. This
error has many causes, including USB drivers, keyboard drivers, creative
sound drivers, etc. Have you tried Safe mode or Last Known Good
Configuration yet from the boot menu (easily accessed by hitting F8
immediately after the POST and before WinXP loads)?

The WinXP CD itself is bootable, and that system will support booting from
it.

Provided that you do not format, and that they were not encrypted, then they
will still be there whether you repair this or do a parallel installation.

No, you can reinstall to the same system as often as you please.
