I have disabled the Shockwave flash object in the Add-ons Manager of Internet
Explorer but when I open pages that use this object the windows of ie don't
respond and i attempt to kill these processes but doesn't work, the only way
to exit from this issue is restarting the system, can anyone tell me how to
disable or uninstall the shockwave flash object without get the system halted
in my PC?

To uninstall Flash, see these Macromedia sites:
http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_14157 - using their uninstaller
http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_12727 - manually

However, uninstalling Flash will probably lead you to getting install
prompts at lots of sites that use it. So, disabling it might be a better
route. Here are a couple utilities to do this:

Flash Toggler -
http://download.softpedia.ro/software/OS ENHANCE/SetupFlashToggler.exe -
puts an icon in your systray to enable/disable flash with a click. (Sorry -
author's site has been down awhile, had to find this via another source)
TurnFlash - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/tflash2.html
Flash and Pics Control - http://www.unhsolutions.com/FPC/ - also disables
images on a site for even faster downloading.
FlashSwitch - http://www.flashswitch.com/

Or, if you want a do-it-yourself method:
http://www.clearpointsystems.com/toggleFlash.php
Or, for .reg files that are already done - see
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm - line 363 on the left.
