System / Application Settings files?

060508 System / Application Settings files?

Hi, looking for information on what things should worry about for bringing
data to a new install of an operating system for XP-home. Currently am /
aware of:

- Is there a file / method of farwarding button bars / settings in Excel?
- have: copy of desktop
- MS Word template file: normal.dot
- documented settings for tabs: system, internet, explorer (file manager)
- backup of personal files

How do you forward Excel Settings, and are there any other settings I should
be concerned with? thanks
