I just got a Dell 8300 and am running Windows XP
Professional. Every time I start my computer, I have a
screen come up "System 32 These files are hidden". How
do I correct this so I don't have to close the screen
before using the computer. I've called Dell twice and
their tech support has given me two ways to correct it
that didn't work. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
