When I start up my computer I get this box that pops up
which says, "Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\System32
\System32.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start
button, and then click Search."

It doesn't seem to affect the computer that I don't have
this file but I'm wondering what it is and if I ought to
have it. Finally, would there be a way of reinstalling
this file without erasing my C drive?

Thanks,

Ron

Remove remnants of KWBot.Worm from the Registry and File System
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_clean_kwbot.htm
This VB Script will the common Registry entries and files created by the KWBot.Worm.
This worm causes an error message that "CMD32.EXE" cannot be found on startup. The
error message may also be that "system32.exe" cannot be found.

Perhaps an online security/virus check
