Sysprep - WinBom

Where or how do you create a winbom.ini file for WinXP Pro for sysprep -factory to look for. I cannot find any documents on how to create a winbom.ini file or how it is generated. Please clarify this for me. TIA - David
 
install the OPK tools and Setup Manager is installed. Run setup manager and
it will create your winbom.ini file (and save it to floppy as well as an
option).

Thanks Rob for some insight. We're not an OEM shop, and to my understanding OPK is for system builders. Is there any other utility that can generate a winbom.ini file?
 
I don't have a CD in front of me to check this, but I know there is a
similar utility included on the XP CD under the \Tools\Deployment directory.
I'll reply with more info when I get into the office in a few hours.

ok, i have not used this tool, but if you check the XP cd and look in
\SUPPORT\TOOLS there is a file called DEPLOY.CAB. in that file is a tool
called setupmgr.exe. This is a non OPK version of setup manager which is
the tool used on the OPK to create the WINBOM.INI file, so perhaps the non
OPK version does something similar.
