system recovery cant find my recovery partition but i can
find it from disk mgmt which says that recovery partition
is "healthy". Can you help?

Hi,

No idea. As this isa manufacturer's proprietary system recovery, you need to
contact them for the proper assistance. This isn't an XP function.

i have just had a hard drive fail in that it is not
being seen as a FATS32 filing system and not what is was, a NTFS filing
system!!!

i have using another hard drive in my pc to check for errors and viruses for
a friend and when i put my own hard drive back in my pc it saw it as FATS32
and i did not know what was going on until it showed the desktop and tried
to load outlook express that it kicked up a fuss that the folders were
missing, i had moved my outlook express folder to this drive that had been
somehow changed, just in case the boot drive failed i would still have my
emails, well now i have none!!

now i have a hard drive partition that was 39 gig and now is only seen as a
1.99gig partition with only 299mb free space the files (10000 of them are
called 'file0000.chk, file0001.chk.......file9999.chk) all of which are in a
folder called 'FOUND.000' this folder is in the root of the 'G' drive
partition

the rest of the hard drive which has 3 partitions are all ok, i hope.!!!

hope someone else can help me get back my emails and other files that
were/are still, on the drive.

thanks
