I have made some mods to a copy of SFC_OS.DLL (which is renamed) and now
with the mods done to the sys file I want to copy back the replacement but
as it is in use XP / NTFS will not allow same.
Now at the "prompt" these system files are still running and cannot be
changed/modified etc. Now if it was good old Dos there would be no prob to
boot straight into DOS and do one's dirty work, But what do you do with
XP/NTFS??

Some ideas Please ??

Download and try using Microsoft's inuse.exe utility to replacement
inuse files. Requires a reboot. I suppose you could also try booting
into Recovery Console mode and try your file operations there.
