Whenever I do a search with the address bar, unless I put the exact address
in, it shows me something like this "http:///? pontiac", and says "Invalid
syntax errror". I have IE v. 6.0, and it has been set up with default
settings, which tells the search to go to the closest address. I was having
no problems up until a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks-AHS

Go to tools/internet options, click on the programs tab, then click the
Reset Web Settings button. If this doesn't reset to what you want then
your defaults have been changed and you will need to run something like
Hijack-This to reset the defaults. If you have no experience with
Hijack-This, then you should post a scan so someone can tell you what
you need to do with it. This will also allow you to see what may have
changed the defaults to start with, maybe spyware, which would
neccessitate further action.
