Would be even nicer if there was an option to automatically execute upon
closure of a session. As of present it can only be told to automatically
fire off at the opening of a session.

Apart from that beats working offline handsdown.

Could you not add "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\SyncToy\SyncToy.exe" -R to
Computer Configuration > Windows Setting > Scripts (Startup/Shutdown) in
gpedit.msc?

Hello Scott,

Thanks for the reply. Now you would of thought yes but the answer is no.
Tried several options (even running a script on the planned task at the
opening to fire off at the end) but not a lot happened. start up/shutdown
logon/logoff scripts in the management console etc all active. Thing that
crosses my mind is this PC is in a domain, is that blocking the script on the
local machine?

It just seems a bit weird that this tool can work at the start of a session
(when you've done no work) and not at the end (when you should of done some
work & would like to back it up).

All ideas gratefully received.

Tony.
