syncronisation

I am using a destop PC and a laptop in turn and cannot find a conve nient
way to syncronise messages as on one computer I have messages missing on the
other abd the other way round.
Is there a simple way to do such syncronisation?

If there is not, I am considering to buy a USB flash memory pen (128K) which
is easy to swop between the computers and to keep the pst file on it.
Does Outlook allow to use a pst from a USB drive?

Thanks, Lanwench

The approach described there (two ZIP-drives, creating folders, moving
files between them, deleteing the folders and then applying briefcase) does
not seem to be streightforward. Besides I guess it works when sincronisation
simply means to update one computer from another. I my case the update is
needed both ways and from the description I am not sure this will work.

Whay is not possible just to keep the pst file on that Zip-drive and point
Outlook to this file?

Yes, without Exchange server this is not an easy task, although the
Briefcase method works for many. As far as the zip drive is concerned, I
suppose you could do that, but how big is your PST file now and how big is
it likely to get? I don't think Zip drives are larger than 250MB....

You are right, pst starts small and quickly ends up fat.
I started with thinking about 256Mb USB flash memory, but now am thinking
about 30Gb USB external drive to keep everything in one place.

Might be a better option, yes.
