Synchronizing Palm data with Outlook. Windows XPpro Error

Is there an easy way to synchronize palm OS calendar and contacts, etc
w outlook?

I am upgrading from a plam device to a pocketpc. To move my
information I need to sync the palm with outlook. I never installed
the conduit to do that. When I try to upgrade to install the conduit I
get the error message:

the Win16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, dosx.exe must
be in your autoexec.nt and present in your path

So, is the some way to get outlook to read the palm files directly?

How are the files formatted?

It sounds like you don't have a compatible version of the synch software.
See if you can download a current version from the vendor.
