Synchronizing desktop and server calendars

My main calendar is on my desktop.
When I travel I get to email by the web webmail interface. But the only calendar is the email server calendar.
How do I synchronize my desktop calendar with the server calendar so I can see the same thing on my desktop and from webmail?
 
You'd need to be able to access your Exchange server from the Internet using
Outlook. VPN is a very common way to achieve this. Then set up an Outlook
profile that is set to access your mailbox on the server, and set it up with
an offline file so you can sync & work offline.
