In the Franch edition of ZDNet today I saw a list of synchronising
programs . Two of them are freeware:

Easy2Sync

SyncToy for Windows XP 1.0

I have made some quick tests with SyncToy and it looks quite promising.
Right now I have used the freeware edition of SyncBack
(http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html), but SyncBack is not able
to propagate file renames and file deletes between synced directories.
SyncToy seems to be capable of doing this.

Any experience with these synchronisers ? Or are there better freeware
synchronisers ?

Give a try to j4copy (requires Java but portable): http://j4copy.free.fr/
