Synch'ing OUTLOOK acfross ethernet ?

Any SIMPLE way to "synch" between OUTLOOK on a laptop [downstairs]
and a desktop [upstairs] ? .. they are ethernet connected.
One -acceptable- way, would be to have ONE OUTLOOK.PST - how, across, E'net ?

OUTLOOK is NOT my mail nor news program.

Maybe I should just look for a PIM, freeware ?
