"Sync" FTP files changed on website (Filezilla)

I am using Filezilla to upload/download my website.
Sometimes, I am not sure of all the changes I have made to my website e.g.
blog pages in different directories.
Is there a way I can "sync" (excuse the lack of a better word) the files and
all that were changed would get uploaded (or downloaded if the other way)
especially ones that are not in the root directory.
Thanks very much.

Web Site Publisher v1.5.0 (Build 1442) is excellent.

In the server's advanced settings, make sure the time offset between
you and the server is set correctly, if necessary. Set the overwrite
setting in the main FileZilla menu (Transfer » File overwrite settings)
to 'overwrite if newer'. Then in the root directory, select all and do
an upload or download. FileZilla will recurse through the directories,
transferring newer copies of files and skipping unchanged or older
ones. An upload followed by a download (or vice versa) should result
in a total sync.

You should probably create a test directory and a few files to test
this method before using it for anything major. It works ok for me,
but your server might handle timestamps differently than mine does.
(OTOH, I don't think it could do any harm beyond unnecessarily
up/downloading a lot of stuff, like your blogging app installation.)

I have my site set as a folder on my computer, and I use Karen's
Replicator to keep it up to date. I just set that folder as the root
backup folder for my local copy of the site.
