I can not even finish typing this sentence without a symantec security
alert.please help

My personal opinion, and the opinion of many of us here, is that
Symantec makes the worst software on the market. If I were in your
shoes, I'd uninstall everything Symantec ASAP, and replace it with
better freeware choices.

Symantec Corp Edition is one of the best, lite on resources, top
detection rates, and is very stable.

Symantec non-corp edition is crap and I agree 100% with your assessment.

I have no experience with the Corporate Edition, but I've heard the
same from numbers of other people. So I'll accept your amendment to my
statement, although I'm almost sure that someone posting here with a
problem wouldn't have the corporate edition without stating it.

You'll need to do two things:
-- Give more information so there is something to work with, and
-- Ignore the vocal and incorrect nasayers who love to bash Norton.
Not doing either of the above will get you nowhere. Notice how not a single
naysayer had anything useful to say about how to get near fathoming a
response for you; they're like silly ludites at times; their only comments
were trashy and against their own MVP policies.

Yes I believe that the Symantec Software for consumers and small businesses
include alot of bloatware, I have experienced Norton Antivirus Corp Edition
and agree with the light on resources and far exceeds my expectations. Now,
unfortunantely in order to get corp edition you must purchase a minimum of 5
licenses.
