The above link is the proper place to receive Symancrap help. This
group is not. Take your Symancrap-caused woes outta here.

The person asked for help, not smart remarks. They were not
necessary.

When you post off-topic queries to a Newsgroup, then you are, by
default, asking for smart remarks and flames.

Chances are that's the reason your pc is still working. If Nortons stuff
fails to install or work on your pc, dont use it or try to fix it. Yes,
nortons stuff works on the majority of computers it's installed on. But,
if it doesn't install, or has niggles, then YOUR pc should NOT use it.

Off-topic according to you, of course. But no more off-topic than your
Nazi sig - which could be construed as intended to offend as many people
as possible (although I'm sure it is not intended that way). Live and
let live. "Peace" to you too.

Do you see Symantec or Norton in the title of this group? This is group
intended to help those with WINDOWS problems!

Sig off-topic? Product Activation, or in German, Produkt-Aktivierung,
is an intergral part of Windows, and as such it is TOTALLY on-topic for
this group.

Only intended to convey my opinion that Product Activation is like put
your computer in a virtual concentration camp.
Live and let live.

Yep. So? I didn't tell anyone not to live.
"Peace" to you too.

You need it more than me. I've found my peace.

FYI. The title of a group does NOT necessarily dictate the contents or
"allowable" questions. Yes, in this case for this MS NG it does, but
that's not necessarily the case with many other popular NGs.

And all I was talking about was this group.
