Switching Users

Whenever i switch users, i just switch and dont log off the other. But then
when i try to go to the other user it flashes and then comes back to the user
welcome screen. It doesnt let me run two different users simultaneously.
Please help. Thank you.

Isn't that the whole idea of it though? I thought that was the security
measure built into it.

I think that you will find that this is by design. The idea is that you can
have two or more users, let us say A and B, A leaves the machine and leaves
it at the welcome screen but with A still logged on ready for ther return
but available for B to log on. B logs on and then decides to see what A has
been doing so either switches user or logs himself off, do you want B to
"fall into A's activity and see A's work?

If you are both A and B of course this will not make sense, but in that case
why have two users? In short XP was supposed to instill a little security
and discipline. Note I know, a little, not complete security!
