I have windows xp MCE on a gateway pc.

When I log off from the administrator user then log into secondary user, I
get prompted with a "fAiled" message almost immediately. I then proceed to
click "OK" and everythiong seems to be fine????? Does anyone know anything

This is a Windows XP General newsgroup. Ask in MCE newsgroup.

What happens when you directly log-on to the secondary user account ?

It doesn't look like a windows message. SO try the following :
1. Look in the User's startup folder to see if something there is causing the
error. To open Startup folder :
Log-in to that account
Click STart > RUn
Type "%userprofile%\Start menu\Programs\Startup"

2. Scan your PC for viruses, malwares.

3. What is the exact error message ?

So you get a Windows Message Box which just states:

fAiled

Is that what we are to understand?

Same to me.
