Switching Users and Logging Off - XP Pro

The XP Pro for some reason does not allow for switching users. I just says
"log off" The system help isn't any. The pc is using a wireless card.

Appreciate your suggestions though...
 
Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off > Check
the Fast User switching option

Go to the Control Panel and under 'User Accounts', click 'Change the way
users log on and off' and see if 'Fast User Switching' is checked.
