Switching from D: drive to C: drive

When I put xp on my computer it went to D: drive and it says that there isn't
enough memory on it. How do I switch it back over to C: drive?

What is D:? Have you tried removing it from the system before installing?

I'm guessing it really means hard drive space, not memory.
