When attempting to remove a monitor within Device manager
the svchost.exe is at 99% and system just hangs. Any
suggestins would be greatly appreciated.

If the file svhost.exe is in the Windows Drivers folder
Norton AntiVitus said it was a Virus but it could remove
it, the only way I found to remove it was to boot in SAFE
mode.

Yep, I tried that also and after booting into safe mode
Monitor is not showing in device manager.
