What exaclty is the SVC Host?
Everytime I log off the computer an error box pops up
saying SVC Hose is not connected. Thanks.

Each instance of Svchost launches a list of services.
Multiple instances of Svchost.exe can run at the same
time. Four or five instances of svchost.exe is normal.

HOWEVER . . .

WARNING: There are viruses and trojans circulating in the
internet which uses the same name as svchost.exe.

To spot the invalid ones, use an Anti-Virus scanner.

Example: These two viruses copies svchost.exe to the system
