SVCHOST problem here help me im 'TARDED

for some reason svchost with "local service" under the
user name colulmulum (whatever) inside task manager is
SUCKING 90% of my CPU and the memory number is gradualy
growing as time flows by. No programs are running by the
way. I used to be able to just "End Task" and everything
would be hunky dory but now i for some reason get error
messages saying "The operation could not be completed -
Access denied". I guess i dont have administation rights
or something? i might have changed something but i dont
know what. Could somebody PLEASE help me out? i cant get
anything to run cause i got no memory and my CPU is being
hogged by this retarded svchost thing. If you dont know
how to resovle the problem, at least let me know if you
know how to get admin rights back so i can at least
do "end task" again. Ide appreciate it.

Some viruses use svchost.
Run a virus scan with up to date definitions. You could
also go and do an online scan at symantec.com.
You could also search for spyware with the following:
