I'm having to reboot my pc time and time again cos of this file.....it stops me using the net correctly as well...how can i stop this file?.

too many ppl post on this issue and they havnt done any homework on it ..
the truth is as follows
you are vulnerable to attack by the msblast worm .. luckily because you are
running 2k you probbaly havnt yet been infected .. it has some
"kindergarten" code so it's a bit simple on which OS it's trying to infect
and when it guesses wrongly a certain episode of services host falls over ..
it just happens to be the episode that handles some OE stuff and copy or cut
and past and open link in new window whether right click or if it's the
default encoded into that particular link .. so it makes staying online with
reebootting a bore .. it gueses XP more than any other vulnerable OS so you
probaBLY HAVNT GOT THE VIRUS YET .. first thing to do is to disable DCOM. do
this by going to www.grc.com and downloading steves decombobulator .. you
see the blast worm can access you PC without any more input from you than
being "not up to date woth secutity and SP# patches" and being on the
internet .. it uses a vulnerable DCOM to remotely access your PC from an
infected machine .. it also does a DDOS atack on microsoft...
anyway .. go to grc and do some reading and get yourself protected
