svchost.exe ???

In the task manager
if I click "processess"
there is a process called "svchost.exe"
it shows a 3 of them
on one it says the user is "system"
on the second it says "network service"
on the third it says "local service"
what is this application?

It's normal to have multiple instances of svchost.exe running.

It's perfectly normal to have several instances of Svchost.exe running
simultaneously.
