SVCHOST.EXE chews up CPU time

I'm getting the same 100% CPU usage as many people are. I looked at articles
314056 and 916089 (describing the hotfix). When I called MS Tech support
they were not aware of any hotfix for this problem. The "resolution" area of
916089 clearly states there's a fix .... albeit new and improved.

Can anyone share the new hotfix number, so I can help the Tech Support folks
help me?
