Suspicion Folders

Hi all,
Recently, I find there are a few folder were installed in my hard
drive while I was surfing the Net. Some folders are deletable but there is
one folder named DownloadWare that I can't delete. In this folder, there are
two folders(Download & Cfg) also a dw.exe.
I encounted some strange things while surfing the Net after the
above had happened. There were some Microsoft web pages pop up but those
were blank web pages. I hope someone out there can give me some advice on
how to delete the folders in my hard drive and how to enhance my system to
prevent the above problem from happening again.
