Anyone if you know how to fix this please help,
In earlier versions of windows (specifically 2000) if you put you
computer in standby(low power mode) you could still access it from the
network. this is very helpful especially with print servers and other
computers that are not getting used very much. However, if you were to
print to that computer in standby it would print the document out just fine.
Now I have XP and wanted to do a similar thing. However, it does not allow
this to happen. XP does some sort of half way shutdown when the computer
goes into standby forcing us to leave the computer in full power mode
inorder to use things like a print server from it. Does anyone know how to
make XP behave more like 2000 as far as standby is concerned??
~thanks
