Suspect Hard Drive has been Hijacked

I hear my PC running (100% when I check task manager),
when I try to delete files to make room on my hard drive,
it gets bigger! I have almost no room left. Defrag can't
run because there is not enough free space. Also, I have
filed called "hijackthis", but have never been to that
site.
Can someone help, please?

Empty the recycle bin.
Reduce the size of the system restore space to less that
1GB.
Download and run lavasoft's ad-aware and also spybot search and
destroy.
Run a full virus scan...

Try running disk cleanup, also try to do a search for
*.log files you may have spyware writing to this log file.
Sort by date and time and concider deleting the one you
think is from spyware and see it it comes back, if so
look at your cookie list in windowes explorer, are there
cookies that you do not know what they are ?

This is a guess, but I suppose you could have a hidden FTP server on your
computer. In any event, see here:

For example, using a firewall might help block use of your computer as an
FTP server and/or let you see any unusual network activity on your computer
that could indicate a compromise. The NETSTAT -A and NETSTAT -ANO commands
in XP could be helpful as well. Post here, search www.network-tools.com [to
look up IP addresses and remote computer names] and/or www.google.com if you
have questions about whether something listed by those commands is normal or
not.
