We are trying to run MS SUS to get our automatic updates.
When configuring everything, any maching with Windows 2000
works fine, but any machine that is using Windows XP wants
to be logged in as an Administrator before it will
download the updates. We are using Group Policy to deploy
this, and both computers have a fresh installation of
their respective OS, so there are no local security
settings that have been changed. They are both in the
same OU in Active Directory too, so all the settings are
the same through the GPO. Is there a security setting
specific to XP that needs to be changed so it can apply
the updates? Or does anyone have any idea what I might
have done wrong?
