Ok, hopefully this is the right place to ask this, but whenever i boot my computer up, it comes up fine, when it does i can click on everything, but nothing comes up, whenever i press ctrl+alt+delete it takes about 1 minute for the windows task manager to come up, when it does one application is running and it is called Survey, after i select Survey and End Task everything works fine again, but this is a real inconvienience, it isnt spyware or anything, i ran Ad-Aware and it didnt catch anything, any ideas on what this is and how to get rid of it?

Try this...

Click start then run and type msconfig.
Select the startup tab and uncheck the problem application (survey) then
reboot.

Also...try running Ad-aware in safemode. Some spyware programs will restart
themselves even if you "tell them not to" in the msconfig utility and
Ad-aware may not detect these programs. Safemode runs a minimal amount of
applications.

Hope that helps.

The next time you open Task Manager and Survey is listed under
Applications, right click it and click: Go to Process.

This will highlight the Survey process under the Processes tab.

It would be helpful to know what Process is listed.

If it's adware it often times takes a combination of programs to ferret
out all of it. Run these programs to check for spyware/malware. After
installing, update them, then boot into safe mode and run them. You
should update and run them weekly.
