Superscript Font in Excel Chart

I am trying to create a chart with superscript text on the X-axis s
that I can eventually add footnotes in Indesign. I have changed th
text in the cells to Superscript and have also tried to use th
smallfonts type to create a superscript but the text is still the same
It wont change from normal to the superscript that I need. I hav
downloaded and installed XY chart labels but I have no idea how to us
it. If anybody knows a way to do this in Excel, please let me know I
not I think im headed towards editing the text in Photoshop
