SUMPRODUCT not working.

can someone please help me understand what is wrong with the following
formula?

=SUMPRODUCT((Sheet1!$C$2:$C$3515=A2)*(Sheet1!$B$2:$B$3515="-2"))

The syntax is correct.

Try rmoving the quotes and see it that makes a difference:

=SUMPRODUCT((Sheet1!$C$2:$C$3515=A2)*(Sheet1!$B$2:$B$3515=-2))
