SUMPRODUCT for other Excel functions?

Hello, I was referred to the SUMPRODUCT function that has formidable
advantages for counting and summing according to criteria on the range

What if I have to calculate other functions sunch as standard
deviation or percentile according to som criteria on the range? Could
SUMPRODUCT help me for that or is there another not involving
looping ?
