Summary within a report

Having generated a detailed report/schedule of all upcoming school classes, I
want to summarize all these classes on the first page of the report. Is this
possible? Thanks in advance for your time on my issue.
 
It's a bit difficult to answer since we don't know anything about your data
or what you mean by "summarize all these classes".
Generically, you can create a totals query to summarize. You can then use
this as the Record Source of a subreport that you can place in the report
header section.
