SUMIF ?

Hello

I would help with writing a formula to subtotal the
figures in column B if a particular code (e.g. "JT") is
entered in column A cell in the same row.

For example, the JT subtotal will add 100+100=200, the WE
subtotal will add 150+125=275 & the JEC subtotal will add
150+100=250

Column A Column B

JT 100
JT 100
WE 150
JEC 150
WE 125
JEC 100

Any help will be much appreciated.
