Sum result is always 0?

New to excel and trying to set up a spread sheet, but when
I set up a formula to get the sum of a list of products it
always comes out as 0 on the spead sheet even though on
the set up page the answer is correct.

Can anyone help?????
 
Hi Karina!

I suspect that you are using SUM when you should be using COUNT.

It's hard to tell what your problem migth be if you don't sent some more
info.
I assume that you do have a set of cells filled with values (your list of
products; are they actually values or are they text ? If they are text,
they are most likely left aligned in the cell).
What is your formula ? Is it on the same sheet as the data or on another ?
Do you want to add up the values or do you want to count the number of
values ?

Please postback (in this thread please) and surely someone will try to give
you an answer.
